Why groupwork sucks.

One of my friends and I made the mistake of being unable to find a polite way of saying ‘no’ to this other girl (and her absent friend) as to whether we wanted to form a group of four to do a group assignment. I mean she was sitting right next to us and it was like the 2nd lecture. It seemed a bit rude at the time to say ‘No we prefer to wait and see if we know anyone else doing this subject because we’ve just met you’.

Ughh. I have a very low opinion of this girl. Really. She’s asked both of us to lend her our notes from the lectures because she’s apparently missed most of them.

We don’t even KNOW her. What if you never bother returning them? Why should WE lend you OUR notes when YOU could not be bothered turning up to the lecture? You KNOW there is no ilecture, and yet you still couldn’t be bothered turning up? Well suffer, bitch. SUFFER! 

And what REALLY pissed me off, is when I told her I would not have time to locate my notes for her because my room was buried under various piles of paper, and I have a LOT of assignments and what not to concentrate on, she attempted to say that ‘Oh, I need the notes so I can do a better job on the assignment, which we should start soon.’

Oh f**k you. It’s a RESEARCH assignment. The lecture notes are NOT going to be of any help. By definition, you are required to do your own RESEARCH. I know it’s hard for lazy-ass people like her, but I repeat: SUFFER.

And here is the most hilarious thing, she’s decided that we have to meet at 7pm tomorrow after the lecture because that’s the only time that her FRIEND, whom we have never met can meet. I start uni at 10am tomorrow. I know it’s not the longest day but after 9 hours at uni, I NO LONGER POSSESS THE PATIENCE TO PUT UP WITH THE KIND OF BULLSHIT SHE IS PRONE TO THROWING AT US!

God, why oh WHYYY could we not just say ‘no’? It’s not that hard, I mean *with feeling* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
