One of my friends and I made the mistake of being unable to find a polite way of saying ‘no’ to this other girl (and her absent friend) as to whether we wanted to form a group of four to do a group assignment. I mean she was sitting right next to us and it was like the 2nd lecture. It seemed a bit…
KICK HER OUT. Just tell her that two close friends want to work with you and they’d be real upset if you didn’t.
Yeah we’re going to warn her and her absentee friend that if they don’t cooperate with our deadlines, we’re forming a new group (without warning xD). *mean-look*.
Yeah, having your friend support you will help you to say no and be firm with them. They probably looked at you and figured “oh they look smart lets leech off them.” Far out, do your own work man. Seriously, you have my support, and most people would feel the same.
